Aeropajitas releases LIMA ENFERMEDAD
Peruvian punk rock band returns with a renewed sound
After three years away from the recording studios, Peru's Aeropajitas (with Macha on vocals, Moko on drums, Luigi on bass, and on guitars Eduardo and Gonzaleo) have just released a new album. This is their sixth release in thirteen years as a band, and previous releases include "95-00" which was put out by Cochebomba Records in Boston, USA in 2001. They have named the new disc "Lima Enfermedad" and it includes 14 tracks of intense punk-rock'nroll, as well as a bonus video.
Bringing in new guitarist Gonzaleo, and with the collaboration of founding bass player Xavier Llanos in songwriting, "Lima Enfermedad" features the title track, Durmiendo En La Vereda, Pisco Y Cigarro, Agua Sucia and Líneas Negras, among others that are becoming staples of their live shows, alongside long-time classics.
"Lima Enfermedad" is being officially released in Lima in September 2008 and is being distributed locally and sold in a number of local stores.
